Earth Observation technology is at the forefront of our efforts in solving the climate crisis. Yet this information is often inaccessible, incompatible and under-used for practical actions or policy-making. To help increase accessibility of highest quality Earth Observation / Environmental data and to accelerate land restoration and nature conservation projects, OpenGeoHub and Wageningen University & Research, jointly with 22 partners, are starting a Horizon Europe project called Open-Earth-Monitor. It aims at building an open-source cyberinfrastructure to accelerate uptake of environmental information and help build user communities at European and global levels.

Come to Wageningen on 19 July 2022, or register for following online, and join interesting discussions; learn from the leading EU developers about how to use cloud solution for spatial analysis, how to produce FAIR environmental data and what to expect from Open-Earth-Monitor in the years to come.
