Soundscape Haiku
Soundscape Haiku combines intricate repetitive musical motives (grooves) with the freedom of improvisation and expression (grounded in bop and r&b idioms) in a duo-format.
These ‘soundscapes’ may yield either journeys into known and unknown lands, or will stop suddenly at places, making short, pregnant musical statements (‘haiku’s’), connecting to other scapes. Come along and let yourself be transported on this musical journey! Soundscape Haiku is Herman Koster (composition, keys, drums and percussion) and Freek Bakker (trumpet, fluegelhorn, bass guitar).
