Structure your Notes
Do you struggle with consistently taking notes during your lectures? Are you unable to understand your own notes when studying? Or do you want to improve the way you take notes? Then this workshop is for you!
The workshop is given by Ane Sanz, a MSc graduate in Plant Biotechnology at WUR.
Manage your studies in a stress-free manner
Ane Sanz: “Early on during my studies, I realized that taking good notes was essential to successfully manage my studies in a stress-free manner. That is why I started to spend time optimising my note-taking method. After a while, my friends and peers started to ask for them. So, I must do something right…
And, since I believe taking notes is essential for your academic and later-on professional life, I want to share what I have learned so far in this workshop.”
About the workshop
This interactive workshop consists of 2 sessions. The first session will be mostly informative. I will share:
- My experience of taking notes in higher education;
- Tips on how to improve the way you take notes;
- Demonstration of how to use a note- system in your academic and personal life.
The second session will be a group discussion and one-on-one mentoring, with a focus on your struggles and issues. The aim is to help you reflect and choose which system of taking notes works best for you.
