The BO3 process for removal of micropollutants from wastewater treatment plant effluent. Exploring the synergies between biological treatment and ozonation
Summary
Micropollutants are a threat to the environment and end up in surface and groundwater via wastewater. The research described in this thesis shows that the BO3 process can be used to remove a broad range of micropollutants from wastewater treatment plant effluent while having a limited energy demand.
