Women in Science, A leaky pipeline? | Lecture by Dr. Yuling Bai and Dr. Elinor Scott
Join this VLAG lunch lecture by Dr. Yuling Bai and Dr. Elinor Scott! These two women with a great career in science will reflect on their experiences and inspire us with their story.
Despite noticeable advances towards gender equality, women in science still form a minority with a percentage of 29% of the world’s researchers. Although equality in graduates from PhD programmes is more balanced (46%), the number of women who continue in research significantly decreases, especially in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) (Source).
Register before the 15th of April via this link. Lunch included!
