Workshop - Fundamentals of Knowledge transfer and IP

Do you wish to successfully translate your early stage research inventions into tools for direct use by the research community or society at large? Do you know when to begin and how WUR can support you in this process? Through this Workshop, WUR scientists will be guided through the basic processes of knowledge transfer, provided with insights into intellectual property (IP) and made aware of the organizational policies, the tools and support available for you at WUR to transition your results/technologies into the marketplace and society.

This training session is led by IP experts and Business Developers from WUR, who will introduce and provide insights into when and why to consider IP rights for scientific inventions. Similarly, information on where and how to request support for knowledge transfer activities will be shared. There will be ample time to ask questions around this topic. The workshop is appropriate to all WUR scientists.
