Your input is requested: Research questions for extension of the KB programmes and investment themes

With the extension of WUR's Strategic Plan, the KB programmes will continue in 2023 and 2024. In addition, 3 new investment themes will start in January 2022. Each programme has its own focus, but overarching research questions are identified. That is why we organize 7 'creative brainstorm sessions' on individual topics that overarch KB and are connected to the investment theme.

Ultimately, we want to have a set of 5 new KB programme descriptions for 2023 and 2024 by June next year. The creative brainstorms are organized in that context. Colleagues from the entire WUR are invited to participate in these sessions, which are organized at locations throughout WUR. We want to create a safe and open space to connect different disciplines to share acquired knowledge and identify gaps in understanding and discovering new directions for research. Ideas that arise during these creative brainstorms do not automatically lead to new projects and financing via the KB programmes, as this selection is subject to approval by the KB core teams (and ultimately by LNV and the CR).

Schedule

Due to Covid and the applicable measures, the sessions in February will take place online. We aim to have the sessions scheduled for March take place physically.
