9 November - Inauguration of the Carillon

The sounds from the carillon drifted across the campus for the first time on 9 November. The carillon was inaugurated by the minister of Education, Culture, and Science, Ingrid van Engelshoven, and Rector Magnificus Arthur Mol. The carillon is a gift from the University Fund Wageningen (UFW), Wageningen ambassadors, and several donors. The carillon will ring out during special occasions, such as the Dies Natalis, the opening of the academic year, and the Annual Introduction Days.
