New optimized methods for soil biodiversity analyses

The last years have helped us to increase our understanding of soil biodiversity especially thanks to the development of novel sequencing techniques.

These are, however, still not well tested and we often do not exactly know what kind of information they provide. You will assembly known communities of soil organisms and test a range of tools to study them. This will show what these methods provide and will help optimizing those. Development of species primers are part of this project that will help obtaining quantitative information on many organisms that we currently cannot really study.
