What is studying in Wageningen like during a pandemic?

Choosing a study programme is complicated enough as it is, but even more so in times of corona. Nothing is as much fun as strolling around your future study location during an open day. Not an option now. But the pain is eased considerably when a host of teachers and students await you online.

On Thursday 8 April, the virtual campus gates are opened during the Online Masters Open Day. Want to know the most frequently asked questions?

1. Is there still physical education?

This varies per study programme and depends on the corona measures. These are subject to continuous change. Currently, exams and the occasional group work take place on campus.

2. I live abroad. Can I still come to the Netherlands to study?

Currently, this is still permitted with a student visa. But, for this too, the situation is volatile. During the Online Masters Open Day, experts are at your disposal to explain all the details.

3. How do students feel about studying at WUR during a pandemic?

They study online but are permitted to visit the campus occasionally for a practical or to discuss with fellow-students.
