Blog: Interesting catch from the deep sea at Blue Whiting Survey

Researchers of IMARES are working on research vessel the Tridens on the annual Blue Whiting Survey. A deep water haul, over 1000 meters deep, contained some interesting creatures: fish with sharp teeth, two deepwater spiny dogfish and some species with colorfull light producing organs.
