Corona update 21 October

Autumn is by definition the season for spreading flu and cold viruses, and nowadays, corona. Vulnerable groups are particularly at risk. The Dutch government's COVID-19 dashboard confirms this trend.

As the WUR corona team and Education Taskforce we stay alert and monitor current developments. For example, we see a slight increase in the number of sick reports within WUR due to the spreading of the COVID-19 virus.

Advice limiting spread of COVID-19 virus

There are currently no corona measures in place. To limit infections, it is wise to follow the basic advice of the Dutch government: wash your hands, cough and sneeze into your elbow, stay home in case of symptoms and take a test, get plenty of fresh air and get a vaccine, booster or repeat shot.
