Learning-by-doing and responsibility
Knowledge is an important dimension of moral responsibility, but we can’t always know everything in advance. Learning-by-doing is such an example where we learn as we go, so how can we be responsible in this case? The student will work on a case of their choice, preferably in the context of agriculture, where there is such a process of learning by doing to tease out how different definitions of moral responsibility apply or do not apply and reflect on the knowledge condition for moral responsibility.
