We are Hiring - Student Assistant Communication
Are you looking for a student job and are you interested in student well-being? Do you have a talent for communication and love to create engaging content for social media?
Team Student Training & Support is looking for an enthusiastic Student Assistant to support the communication of our training programme.
Student Training & Support offers free training courses and workshops for WUR students to improve your study skills and work on your wellbeing. Also, we organise the yearly Surf your Stress – Wellbeing – Week in November.
What You’ll Do
- Manage our Instagram account (@WUR_Wellbeing) together with a fellow Student Assistant under the guidance of the Communications Advisor.
- Plan and create engaging content (text and visuals) to inform and inspire students. You will gather information & experiences by speaking to both students and staff.
- Write appealing texts for our student target group. You maintain contact connections with student- and study associations. •Develop and organise promotional activities on campus.
- You are a member of the Surf your Stress project team, contribute ideas for workshops, speakers, and events. You will assist in activities during the week (Nov).
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
- Creativity in ideas, writing, and visuals. Experience in photography/video creation & editing is a bonus.
- Flexibility in both time and mindset.
- Ability to work independently while being a great team player.
- A hands-on approach – you generate practical ideas and bring them to life.
Availability
- You can start a.s.a.p.
- You are available for work on campus for at least one year
- An average of 4 to 6 hours per week
