The children (and the adults) are always interested in us as we are the only muzungus (white people) in the area.

Many of them have never seen a white person before. So everywhere we go we have an escort of children. Mostly they stare and some of them are even brave enough to reach out and touch our arms. As in this picture, where we are just enjoying a quite sunday afternoon reading and we suddenly have an audience. You get used to it.
