About The Imagination of Mindfulness: Gunda
Come and meet Gunda, a female pig living with her piglets at a farmstead in Norway. In this intimate, meditative documentary, director Viktor Kossakovsky and cinematographer Egil Haaskjold Larsen invite you to look at the world, the farm, the animals living on it, through the eyes of Gunda, without words.
Zen-Buddhist, philosopher and documentary maker Misha Beliën will shortly introduce the film. Upon his initiation as monk, Beliën took the boddisatva vow, in which he promises to liberate all living animals. After the screening, there is time and space to enter into conversation with each other.
Free entrance for WUR-card holders. Register at moview.nl, under ’10-zittenkaart’, and show your WUR-card at the cinema. Documentary without spoken language.
