Professional Skills in English

Do you work in an international environment where English is commonly spoken, or do you have many English-speaking business clients? Do you already speak some English, but could it be better, more fluent and more professional? Then start with the Professional Skills in English course. This course will teach you to communicate more confidently and avoid language errors in emails, meetings and presentations. We are happy to help you even if you are still at the beginning of your career with all sorts - like with the precision and fluency of your application pitch!

Admission requirements

To be eligible for the Professional Skills in English course, you need to score 60-80 on the Oxford Online Placement Test (OOPT). You can apply for the OOPT by emailing us at

You follow the course entirely online using the Virtual Classroom in Brightspace or at our location: Campus Wageningen University & Research.

You will receive a certificate from Wageningen in’to Languages if you attend at least 80% of the lessons.
