Print easily with QR code login
As of this week, using the multifunctional printers has become even easier! You can now print by simply scanning the QR code on the MFP display with the KUARIO app on your phone—no need for your WURcard anymore to identify yourself at the printer. In this article, we guide you through every step of using the multifunctional printer on campus.
QR code on display

Students and others with a KUARIO account linked to their WURcard, can scan the code on the display (see photo) via the KUARIO app and log in directly to the printer. A physical WURcard is then no longer needed to print.
One app for printing: KUARIO print
Before you can print, you need to have a KUARIO account. With the KUARIO app you can upload credit on your WURcard and thus be able to pay for your prints. Read the following information carefully.
With the KUARIO Print service you can print from any private device (PC, mobile phone) on a WUR printer. This also works easily with Linux or Apple. There is also the option to connect directly to the printers.
Conditions
- A valid WURnet account and accompanying WURcard
- A KUARIO account
- As a student, sufficient saldo on your KUARIO account
Instructions
- Go to https://login.kuario.com
- Click on "Sign in with Microsoft"
- Log in with your WUR email and password
- Click on "Upload Print"
- Browse to the file you want to print and confirm/select your file
- You will now see that a document is ready to be printed under "Print Jobs"
- Go to a printer on campus, log in with your WURcard, or scan the QR code on the display with the QR code scanner in the KUARIO app on your phone. and print the document.

Please only print-out documents if necessary. Note that scanning documents is free.

FollowMe
Wageningen University and Research offers FollowMe printing. This means you can send documents to any printer on campus. The documents are held in a secure print server until you arrive at the printer of your choice, present your WURcard or scan the QR code and release the documents. You can print from any device or any off-campus location. The print jobs that you don’t pick up, will be deleted after 24 hours.

With the KUARIO app you can top up the credit on your WURcard and pay at the printers or coffee machines on campus. Read more on the eWallet on your WURcard. Please, contact the Servicedesk Facilities if you have problems with KUARIO and/or printing.
