Security breach at Statista database
Do you have a personal account for the Statista database that WUR Library offers? Statista has been affected by a security breach that occurred at their email marketing platform Mailchimp. This breach allowed an unauthorized actor to download the data of Statista users.
Personal data registered users obtained
If you have a personal account for the Statista database, your data are affected, including name, surname and email address. No password information was leaked and third parties can't access your Statista account. Statista informed the data protection authorities and is further investigating the issue with Mailchimp.
