Japanese company Kubota establishes an office on Wageningen Campus

​The Japanese company Kubota starts in September with a tighter collaboration with Agrosystems Research of the Plant Science group, while awaiting the establishment of an own satellite office at Wageningen Campus for the Kubota Innovation Center Europe.

Kubota develops and manufactures innovative applications and products such as Agricultural Equipment (tractors, implements, utility vehicles etc), Construction equipment, Engines, Water management products and robotics.

Collaboration

Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and Kubota already collaborate closely in several Dutch Topsector and European research projects. It is the intention to further strengthen this collaboration in the area of Smart Agriculture. The newly to be established Innovation office of Kubota  will research new innovative ideas and technologies for future products and services in the areas of Digitalization, IoT, AI and Robotics. In 2020 Kubota will open the satellite office in the Plus Ultra II building, which is under construction now on campus.
