AID 2020: small-scale, safe, but a whole lot of fun!
AID 2020 officially started yesterday as part one of the orientation days. The event was divided into two parts to halve the number of participants. The 1.5-metre social distancing measure is being strictly observed, as are all other RIVM guidelines. The second session will start next week.
You won’t find hordes of exuberant first-year students buzzing around campus this year, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had! Small groups of new students can be seen happily milling about, strolling from one building to the next.
The key rules: no alcohol, no parties, and all programme components must end by 10:00 PM. But even this can't put a damper on the fun!
