100-kilometre ultramarathon as part of ‘Open your Eyes’
One of the subjects photographed in the ‘Open your Eyes’ exhibit, currently on display on the Forum square on Wageningen Campus, will participate in a 100-kilometre ultramarathon on Tuesday 3 October.
The marathon will start in Maarsen and end in front of Forum around 5.00 pm.
Sameena van der Mijden is running to raise awareness for human trafficking. During the marathon, she will pass places where she was once exploited, but also the place where she started her new life after being freed from a lover boy.
