In co-production with Wageningen UR the Haifa Group organizes a series of four webinars to be delivered by Prof. Dr. Leo Marcelis of the Horticulture & Product Physiology group.

The next webinar in this series of four on Fertilization in Horticulture will take place on Wednesday 28 January 2015. The subject of the 2nd edition will be 'Optimizing Growth by anion supply'.

It will present very practical key and innovative topics about this subject in vegetable and ornamental crops. Professor Leo Marcelis of the Horticulture and Product Physiology group will explain the relation between growth and the supply of the anions nitrate, phosphate and sulfate. Also the function of these minerals in plants will be discussed: what is the response on growth at different concentrations. On top of that Marcelis explains how the availability of these minerals depends on other factors. As the webinar is a live event, viewers will be able to ask questions, and receive an immediate respond from Prof. Marcelis and from the Haifa team.

Next webinars:
3. Optimizing color and appearance (Wednesday 4 March 2015)
