5 years of Thesis rings @ Nematology!
Five years ago we set up the first thesis rings at Wageningen University within our chair group. A thesis ring system is a concept originally designed for use in a social science setting that we redesigned and implemented in a life sciences setting.
Thesis rings are groups of students that share their thesis proposals and reports and discuss the quality of the written work in group meetings. By now, up to almost 30 other chair groups have adopted our approach and made it their own. We celebrated this occasion with cake! As guests of honour we invited Marca Gresnigt and Sanne Mirck (both from ESC) who helped us design and spread the concept throughout our university.
