6th newsletter of the Healthy Livestock project

The Adaptation Physiology group was involved in several work packages about improvement of resilience, targeted use of medication and validation of potential solutions to reduce antimicrobial use. This has resulted in a few valuable studies that are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

In the 6th newsletter of the Healthy Livestock project containing information about the research performed within this project to enhance animal health and welfare to reduce antimicrobials use in pigs and poultry.

Moreover, the HealthyLivestock consortium and the Schippers group organizes a conference in Bologna, Italy, on June 23. During this “Science meet Practice’ event, leading scientists, practitioners, and industry will have the chance to meet, discuss and get to know the innovations to reduce antimicrobial resistance in livestock farming.
