Award for best presentation of young researchers won by Rachel Schipper (HPP)
Rachel Schipper, PhD candidate at the Horticulture and Product Physiology group of Wageningen University, won the award for best presentation of young researchers at the Network Event on Horticulture and Starting materials.
This annual event took place in Nieuwegein (the Netherlands) on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. It was organized by TKI Horticulture & Propagation Materials.
In her presentation entitled ‘A two sided story’ she presented her research on LED lighting and how plant architecture and photosynthesis responds to the positioning of LED light. In her research she combines experimentation with 3D plant modelling.
