Scientific, historical, and artistic outreach to the new generation of scientist by two generations of Velders.

This year it is 700 years ago that Dante Alighieri, the famous Italian poet and writer of the Divina Commedia, passed away. For this occasion, mrs. Emilia Velders-Boni, member of the Dante Alighieri association, has organized a lecture series at the Celeanum Gymnasium in Zwolle to convey this quintessential part of Italian/Mondial cultural heritage to the new generation. Aldrik has joined his mother in this effort by lecturing about the inspiration a modern scientist can take from the Divina Commedia, highlighting the Canto 26 of the Hell where Dante meets Odysseus, the inventive and creative restless explorer.
