Every two years the European Society of Nematologists (ESN) is hosting an international symposium to foster collaboration between Nematologists.

This year the symposium will take place at the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering of Ghent University. ESN is offering PhD students the ability to apply for a bursary in order to support in travel costs and accommodation. The ESN Governing Board selects the successful bursars on the basis of the scientific impact of the student’s research findings. Paula Harkes and Amalia Diaz were awarded with a bursary this year and will present their work in September at the ESN symposium.
