Imke de Boer receives EAAP Leroy Fellowship award

At the 2018 Annual Meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP) in Dubrovnik (Croatia), Imke de Boer received the Leroy Fellowship Award for her outstanding scientific contribution to Animal Production over a sustained period.

The European Federation of Animal Science awards annually the A.M. Leroy Fellowship. The A.M. Leroy Fellowship highlights the work of an active scientist or professional whose activities and reputation are internationally recognised. This year the Leroy Fellowship was awarded to Imke de Boer at the start of the annual meeting on 27-31 August in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

During the opening day of the conference Prof. de Boer then addressed her Leroy lecture entitled 'Do animals have a role in future food systems?' for a plenary audience.
