From 6th to 9th of February 2018, 19 participants from 11 countries participated in a workshop on Individualistic Growth Response (IGR).

The aim of the workshop was to obtain first insights into the potential of a new method to e.g. better understand climate-growth relationships of tree populations and eventually come up with better predictions of tree sensitivity to extreme climate events.

The workshop was organized by WUR staff members Allan Buras, initiator of the IGR network and Ute Sass-Klaassen, head of the FEM-DendroLab and President of the Association for Tree-Ring Research (ATR), which also financially supported the event.
