Invitation to participate and presentations for the NCG symposium at the Wageningen University

On 29 November the Nederlands Centrum voor Geodesie en Geo-informatica (NCG) organizes its yearly symposium at Wageningen University.

The symposium is free of charge and intended for all researchers and students of Dutch universities, academies and institutes that are active in the field of Geodesy and Geo-Information.

The symposium is also free of charge for everyone else who is interested, for instance professionals from commercial companies as well as not for profit organizations.

This announcement is specially intended for PhD candidates, postdocs, and active researchers in the field, to facilitate discussion about research activities. MSc students who recently ended their thesis research are also welcome to present their work.

This year, the Tienstra Research Price 2018 and the Baarda lecture are a part of the programme.

We like to receive a title, authors names and a short abstract (about 5 lines) before 1 October via info@ncgeo.nl. A template for the abstract is added.

The receiver contributions will be assessed by the program commission, and the authors will be notified about the positioning in the programme before 10 October.

The symposium includes all active research activities in the domain of the Geodesy and Geo-Informatics. Especially we ask for presentations of relevant developments and themes, just like:

  • 3D geo-information
  • Monitoring
  • Point clouds
  • Indoor geo-information,
  • Governance
  • Precision Farming, Forestry
  • Crowd sourcing
  • Machine learning methods for geo-information science and remote sensing

Registration for speakers and participators is required. The registration is in order of registration, and full = full.

The registration for the symposium is open till 1 November 2018.
