Keynotes for Sven and Adriaan at Sense conference

Every energy transition leads to major changes in the urban and rural area and therefore also the transition to non-fossil renewable energy sources. These changes create resistance among citizens, farmers, conservationists, politicians and others. This conference aims to provide insight into the various spatial, social, financial and political possibilities for realizing the energy transition, taking into account the different (sometimes conflicting) claims on land use, possibilities for multifunctional land use and participatory processes that can increase support for the energy transition.
