Large Dairy Herd Management Conference May 1-4, 2016
In May Mariska van der Voort gave two presentations at the Large Dairy Herd Management (LDHM) conference in Chicago organised by the American Dairy Science Association. The conference was organised to update the LDHM book. Dairy experts from around the world were selected to prepare and present chapters papers as a first step in creating the e-Book third edition of LDHM. For this manner Henk Hogeveen, Claudia Kamphuis and Mariska van der Voort from our chair group were asked two write two book chapters concerning the economics of precision dairy farming technologies and the economic consequences of production diseases in dairy farming.
