MAE is helping clean the North Sea

The North Sea is of great economic, cultural and ecological importance to the Netherlands. To keep it healthy, the 'Duik de Noordzee Schoon' inititative has been organizing efforts to clean the North Sea of trash. There is a new expedition coming up this Thursday the 14th, and Prof. Tinka Murk and Erik Wurz (PhD canditate) will join!

Duik de Noordzee Schoon (or 'Dive to clean the North Sea') is committed to keep the North Sea clean of trash. They strive towards a healthy North Sea with increased biodiversity and resilience. You can read more about their mission by clicking here.

Prof. Tinka and Erik from MAE will join this initiative on a 10-day expedition! We hope their trip will be successful and productive.
