Mattijs Smits awarded Excellent PhD Thesis from Chiang Mai University (Thailand)
The Graduate School of Chiang Mai University presented Mattijs Smits (ENP) with the award for Excellent Ph.D. Thesis in Humanities and Social Sciences Area 2014 on Wednesday January 21, 2015.
Mattijs completed his PhD, entitled ‘Electricity, Modernity and Sustainability: A Critical Scalar Analysis of Energy Transitions in Thailand and Laos’ under a cotutelle agreement of The University of Sydney (Australia) and Chiang Mai University (Thailand).
