Meeting about National Open Science Plan

You are kindly invited to join the first national researchers meeting about the National Open Science Plan. The meeting will ask and discuss two questions: what do you expect from Open Science and what do you need to make it work. The meeting will be held at the TU Delft on 29 May.

On 19 January 2017, the Dutch State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science sent a letter about Open Science to the Lower House. The letter confirmed the Dutch government’s plan to develop a National Open Science Plan. The 29 May meeting has been called to discuss the plan with researchers and policy makers. You are cordially invited to the meeting to give your opinion on the aims and goals of the Dutch 'National Open Science Plan' and to let politicians, funders and administrators know what researchers need to make Open Science work for them.

The National Open Science Plan follows up on the ambitious Dutch Open Access policy.

Date: 29 May 2017

Venue: Aula TU Delft
