N2Africa wins Harvesting Nutrition Contest
Early June, the N2Africa (Nitrogen to Africa) project of Wageningen UR was among the prize winners in the Harvesting Nutrition Contest, organised by the SecureNutrition knowledge platform. This is an initiative of World Bank, Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and Save the Children. The SecureNutrition knowledge platform of the World Bank works towards setting up a database with projects that improve food security as well as food quality.
The N2Africa project is one of the three prize winners from 50 contestants. The prize consists of $ 5000,- and a multimedia presentation of the project.
