From new lesson modules to waste snacks, waste-free school canteens and getting started as a waste-free entrepreneur: it was all covered during the food waste event of Jong Leren Eten.
About 180 visitors came to the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem to be inspired by the different ways in which you can combat food waste. Afterwards, everyone could visit the 'Gruwelijk Lekker' exhibition to experience how food is preserved through the ages, and still today, in a tasty way, with as little waste as possible.
The Wageningen Youth Institute launched the new Junior Consultancy Training (JCT) about Food Waste during the theme event. During a JCT motivated students of 14-18 years old work in a multidisciplinary team on an assignment formulated by an expert of Wageningen University & Research.
