New Doctor Mahmuda Mutahara
Mahmuda Mutahara successfully defended her PhD thesis on The role of Participation and Learning in Strengthening Tidal River Management in the Bangladesh Delta on January 30, in the Auditorium of Wageningen University.
The opponents were Prof. Dr A.K. Bregt (Wageningen University), Dr E.J.J. van Slobbe (Wageningen University), Dr L.M. Hermans (Delft University) and Prof. Dr Rezaur Rahman (University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh).
Chair of the defence was Prof. Dr Ir C. Leeuwis.
The promotor was Prof. Dr A.E.J. Wals. Co-promotors were Dr J.F. Warner and Dr P. Wester.
The full title of the dissertation is: Turning the Tide? The role of Participation and Learning in Strengthening Tidal River Management in the Bangladesh Delta'.
