Côte d'Ivoire-Ghana: launch of a lowland rice development project

A workshop dedicated to launching a rice lowland development project for Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana was held last Tuesday in Abidjan. At a cost of 1.7 billion CFA francs, the project aims to develop the lowlands of the two countries, but also to improve food and nutritional security in the West African sub-region.

Enhance the lowlands and improve food and nutritional security in West Africa. This is the objective of a project launched this Tuesday at the headquarters of Africa Rice, in the Ivorian capital Abidjan. This is a rice lowland development project in Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana at a cost of 3 million dollars, or about 1.7 billion CFA francs.
