Linda Ofori started as PhD candidate within the ENR group on 15 August 2019. She is working for the WASS project ‘Fisheries in historical perspective’.
Linda completed her Bachelor in International Development Studies and Master in Environmental Sciences at Wageningen University, in both of which she specialised in environmental and natural resource economics. Linda is interested in studying social-ecological systems, notably, how social and ecological dynamics depend on each other and the natural and institutional context they are embedded in. Particularly fascinating in this regard, is also the role which unpredictability and uncertainty play in how resource accessibility and availability shape decision-making with regards to resource use.
