Omid Noroozi as Guest Editor of Special Issue on Self-Regulated Learning for the Journal of Computers in Human Behaviour

Omid Noroozi edited a special issue on the topic of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) in the reputed journal of Computers in Human Behaviour. International experts Prof. Sanna Järvelä and Prof. Paul A. Kirschner also contributed this job. In this special issue, seven international top researchers/research teams (two of which Omid was involved as author) from the fields of collaborative learning, computational thinking, educational psychology, and learning analytics presented contributions to SRL with the goal of stimulating cross-border discussion in the field.

These seven contributions are accompanied by an Introductory article written by Noroozi, Järvelä and Kirschner and a concluding article written by van Merrienboer and de Bruin which critically synthesizes the findings of all the articles in this special issue.

This special issue was one of the outcomes of cooperation of Omid Noroozi from WUR with reputable scientists in University of Oulu, Finland and Open University of the Netherlands as part of SLAM project. SLAM stands for Strategic regulation of learning through Learning Analytics and Mobile clouds for individual and collaborative learning success.
