The WALOT and SENSEAT studies are part of a PhD project of the Marketing and Consumer Behaviour group of Wageningen University. The studies will take place at the sensory lab of the Impulse building (115) between 20 July and 6 August. Those who are interested in participating in these studies can find information below.
WALOT study: For this study we are looking for Dutch male and female participants ≥18 years old. In this study we investigate individual differences in the ingestion of liquids. Participants are invited to conduct a water load task and to fill in a questionnaire about their subjective sensations of appetite and mood. Upon completion of the study, participants receive a €10 gift card, a bag with an assortment of several snacks, and the pleasure of contributing to scientific research.

SENSEAT study: For this study we are looking for Dutch female participants between 18 and 25 years old. In this study we look into individual differences in eating-related sensations. Participants are offered a meal to eat for lunch and fill in a questionnaire about their subjective sensations of appetite and mood. After their lab session, participants have to fill in a short questionnaire at their own time and to post this back to the researcher. Next to the free lunch, participants receive a €10 gift card and they are also rewarded by giving a hand in research.
