The Agriculture–Climate-Forests-Food discussion group is a joint initiative from REDD@WUR and CSA@WUR. We are an acknowledged discussion group operating under the Graduate Schools PE&RC and WASS, and are open to all PhD candidates.

PhD’s can obtain TSP credits for their active participation. The discussion group meets on a monthly basis to share ideas and insights, discuss key articles, and present research plans and results. The PhD discussion group functions to develop a critical view on research, discuss various stages of research, to learn to present and to improve one’s capabilities in scientific interaction. Although the discussion group is targeting PhD candidates in the first place, we welcome any researcher who is interested in the above topics to participate.

We are looking for speakers for future meetings. Do you have something you would like to present to the group? You are welcome to present concepts, methods or results of your research. Please get in touch with Astrid Bos or Marijn Faling to discuss a suitable time to present.
