Prof. Tinka Murk on the Mauritius oil spill in a special theme of Ecotoxicology magazine
The cargo ship MV Wakashio ran aground near Mauritius on July 5th 2020. At least a thousand tons of oil and diesel leaked from the ship over the coral reefs. The ship has since deliberately been sunk. Prof. Tinka Murk impacts of the spill in a special issue of the Ecotoxicology magazine.
