Prof. dr. Josephine van Zeben appointed AMS Principal Investigator

Prof. Dr. Josephine van Zeben, Chair of the Law Group, has been appointed Principal Investigator (PI) at the AMS Institute. The AMS Institute is an internationally leading institute where engineers, designers, as well as natural and social scientists from WUR, TU Delft and MIT jointly develop and implement integrated metropolitan solutions to tackle today’s urban sustainability challenges.

Prof. Dr. van Zeben will advise and participate on all AMS’ research themes: Smart Urban Mobility, Urban Energy, Climate Resilient Cities, Metropolitan Food Systems, Responsible Urban Digitization, Circularity in Urban Regions, from the perspective of her work in international and EU environmental law. As PI, she will also actively foster relationships between AMS, its partners, and WUR, particularly the LAW Group. The appointment runs from February 2021 to February 2023.
