Protecting drinking water supplies - Vidi grant for Nora Sutton (Environmental Technology)

In the Netherlands, potable water comes from clean groundwater. However, the groundwater quality is under threat from micro-pollution such as pesticides and medicine residues. Nora Sutton’s research aims to use natural micro-organisms in groundwater to break down micro-pollutants. Thus, we can sustainably protect our drinking water supply.
