Publication: Spatial distribution of soil nematodes relates to soil organic matter and lifestrategy
Relatively little is known about the spatial distribution of nematode at field scale. Here we generated ’nemascapes’, below-ground maps that show the spatial distribution of 48 nematode taxa.
This selection includes plant-parasites, bacterivores, fungivores, and predators. This paper pinpoints the rol of organic matter content and life strategy on this distribution, and has both academic (soil ecology) and practical (soil sampling strategy) implications.
