Science communication efforts of MAE rewarded by KNAW
The KNAW fund Appreciated has awarded 91 teams of scientists who currently are making a great effort to communicate science to the greater public. While this communication is very important, it still is not appreciated enough as being a part of the job of a scientist. Therefore, KNAW has set up the pilot fund Appreciated to give more value to this aspect. The MAE team is one of the teams also awarded the prize, with their application entitled Sharing your fascination with, new insights about and knowledge of marine ecosystems with passion.
