At WYA, we love stories about those at WUR who have inspired us in the turbulent time of corona. All WYA members are nominating those around us that:

  • We went above and beyond with education or student support
  • Helped make WUR safe and inclusive
  • Made WUR the super awesome place it is
  • ... In other words, a COVID-19 hero!

The WYA members supplied the heros, our co-chair Kevin supplied the masks. Below you can find a short overview of the first round of nominations / masks, many more are to come over the next weeks.

PS Why a banana mask you might ask? This viral tweet by our outgoing WYA co- chair Jessica has turned bananas into our unofficial mascot/logo during the COVID-19 pandemic.
